Jain Heritage School and BIG 92.7 FM Hyderabad launches 'Little RJ Hunt'
A first-of-its-kind hunt for the most versatile kid in the twin cities

Hyderabad|India|May'2009: The summer was never so entertaining for the kids in town, encouraging the budding talent and versatility in the tender age, Jain Heritage, a Cambridge school promoted by Bangalore based Jain Group of Institutions (JGI) in association with BIG 92.7 FM, Hyderabad’s No.1 FM station has launched a first-of-its kind radio reality show ‘Little RJ Hunt’. The hunt is targeted to the kids aged between 5-12 years. The one month long hunt started from 28th April and will continue till 5th June, 2009. The contest saw an overwhelming response in its first three days with hundreds of parents registering their kids for the same.

A reality show on radio, full of emotions wherein parents will be actively involved to groom their kids for this smart and entertaining contest. The entries are invited through SMS- 55454 where the parents can get their kids registered. The last date for receiving sms entries is 16th May post which the kids will undergo auditions at Prasadz IMAX, a city based multiplex and ‘Just for You’ kids outlet on 17th May. Kids will be scanned through 4 rounds- the knowledge round, snakes and ladder, wheel of fortune and RJing. BIG FM will go LIVE form the venue, testing the kids live performance judged by the listeners and judges. The jury will consist of Celebrities, RJ’s and kid celebrity.

Post the auditions, 50 shortlisted contestants will host the shows everyday with BIG FM RJ’s. Based on their LIVE performances on the subjective content designed and customized for them, in the second screening out of 50 contestants only 20 will be selected for the finale to battle for the ‘little RJ’ crown on 5th June. To drive the campaign, Jain Heritage School has rolled out a 360 degree promotion plan with city plastered with outdoors, BTL activities targeting RWA’s, summer camps, drop boxes placed at city outlets, mobile hoardings and standees at malls and multiplexes. The winner will get to host the show LIVE on BIG FM with lots of gifts and accessories sponsored by Jain Heritage School.

Speaking about this talent hunt, Chandrashekar, COO- Jain Group said, “For a change isn’t it good to see that your child need not be a science or a math whiz to be known as an intelligent, achievement oriented and talented person? This unique Little RJ Hunt will focus on the Jain Heritage’s ideology of tapping the Multiple Intelligences among today’s kids. The school focuses on the principle that every child is unique and beliefs in creating a stimulating and challenging learning environment for new generation kids. We are pleased with the plan presented to us by BIG FM and we are sure the clutter breaking ideas, the innovative campaigns planned and other interesting stuff centered around kids will surely help in capturing large response”.
