SIPB clears
investment worth Rs.25,672 crores
25 units to give
employment to 41,406 people
Hyderabad|India|February'2011:
The State Investment Promotion Board which
met under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy
& cleared proposals for 25 industries worth Rs.25,672.43 crores
with a direct employment potential of 41,406 and indirect employment
of 1,20,000 in the State. The Industries being set up and expanded
are: Food &Agro (5 units), Automobile (3), Cement (7), Glass (1),
Steel and Ferro Alloy (5), Mineral (sand) (1), Chemical (1), Ceramic
(1) and Tyres (1) spread over 14 districts. The State is expected to
get a total VAT of Rs.878.00 crores.
The Industries which got final clearance from the SIPB today are
M/s. Mahindra & Mahindra at Zaheerabad, Medak District; M/s.Royal
Enfield, Sri City, Domestic Tariff Zone, Chittoor District; M/s.Sathavahana
Ispat Limited, Anantapur District; M/s. South India Krishna Oil &
Fats Pvt. Ltd., SPS Nellore District; M/s. Krishnapatnam Oils and
Fats Pvt. Ltd, SPS Nellore District; M/s.Gemini Edibles & Fats India
Pvt. Ltd, SPS Nellore District; M/s. Louis Dreyfus Commodities India
Pvt. Ltd., Krishnapatnam, SPS Nellore District; M/s. Food Fats &
Fertilisers Limited, SPS Nellore District; M/s. JSW Cement Limited,
Kurnool; M/s. The KCP Limited, Muktyala (V), Krishna District; M/s.NCL
Industries Limited, Nalgonda District; M/s.Orient Cement Ltd.,
Adilabad District; M/s AGI Glasspac, Nalgonda District; M/s.Anand
Shree Steels Pvt. Limited, Mahabubnagar District; M/s.KPR Chemicals
Ltd., East Godavari District; M/s.Trimex Sands Private Limited,
Srikakulam District; M/s.Sarda Metals & Alloys Ltd., Vizianagaram

Kadapa District. All these units are expected to be commissioned by
the end of 2012.
