Hyderabad|India|August'2009: Fulfilling the requests received from air
passengers, GMR Hyderabad international Airport Ltd (GHIAL) has extended
its existing Aero Express Bus Service of the Hitech city route to
Kukatpally, and introduced an additional pick up point at Kukatpally, Near
JNTU (Near Rythubazar). The Aeroexpress will start from Kukatpally bus
shelter and reach the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport via Hitech city
pick up (Near Shilparamam) point and ORR. The Aero Express will run
between the Airport to theKukatpally pick up point-airport at hourly
intervals.
The additional pickup point bus shelter was inaugurated ton 28th August,
2009 by Prof. D.N. Reddy, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru
Technolgical University. Also present on this occasion were Mr. R.P.
Singh, Chief Advisor, Security and Transport, GHIAL, Mr. D. Satyanarayana,
General Manager, Transport, GHIAL, officials of JNTU, officials of GHIAL
and citizens of Kukatpally.
The ultra modern Aero Express Bus Service, a 24X7 connectivity was
initiated and commissioned by GHIAL from the inception of the Rajiv Gandhi
International Airport for the benefit of the airport passengers, in
collaboration with M/s TVS Commutations Services Ltd. The Aero Express
buses which run on different routes already, has six pickup points in the
city viz. Paryatak Bhavan (Begumpet), Keyes High School (Secunderabad), LB
Nagar X Roads, Shilparamam (Hitech city), SD Eye Hospital (Mehadipatnam)
and City College (Near Charminar
