Hyderabad|India|May'2009: The function commenced with graceful
solemnity with the welcome address followed by the Oath Ceremony for the
outgoing students. Honourable Chief Guest for the day, Ms. Anuradha Ch,
Director, Anoo’s Beauty Salon and Clinic for Men and Women addressed the
students, and highlighted the advancements made by the institute in the
last one year and the stature it has earned in academic excellence.
Ms. Anuradha Ch, Director, Anoo’s Beauty Salon and Clinic for Men and
Women,said” No one can stop an idea whose time has come and Anoo’s
International Beauty School is one such idea. Tomorrow it will be a
knowledge power to reckon with. It is important to keep on learning,
remain tuned to global changes and stay rooted in Indian culture and
tradition. Indian Beauty Industry is on an aggressive growth path and
all have a chance /opportunity to be a part of this growth. Apart from
hard work and dedication, it is equally important that we remember that
ethics and social consciousness are necessary for long term
sustainability, which AIBS has deeply-rooted in its students. We, at
AIBS, feel compelled to recognize and nurture those who will conquer the
world of beauty with their enhanced knowledge. They work hard with us
and for us and I’m proud, that they will represent our school’s face
from today onwards.”
Ms. Anupama and Ms. Annapurna, Directors, Anoo’s Beauty Salon and Clinic
for Men and Women, shared their valuable thoughts and wished the
outgoing students success in their life. This was followed by the
presentation of awards and certificates to the students.
Kicking off the action after the Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Nalini,
Principal, Anoo’s International Beauty School, the event moved ahead to
a magnificent Fashion Show put together by the in-house talents of the
school with the help and guidance of the Instructors, Anoo’s
International Beauty School (AIBS). The song performances set the mood
of the audience and ended on a promising note for audience to anticipate
more from the evening. The dancing performances glowed the evening and
enlivened the audience. The splendid performers charmed the audience by
their exhilarating fusion of music and shaped the ambience with
amusement and fun in various music and dance based activities.
The school offers 30 career-oriented courses for both men and women at
Graduate and Under Graduate level with hands on experience and is an
approved centre of City & Guilds, UK. Anoo’s collaboration with JNTU to
introduce India’s first and only Post Graduation course in Cosmetology
(M. Sc. in Cosmetology) is on its way to produce its first batch towards
the end of 2009. The second batch has already commenced and is well in
progress. Admissions are now open for the 3rd batch i.e. 2009 batch.
AIBS have trained nearly 300 students and have absorbed a good number of
them into various branches. Others have gone into other salons or opened
new salons on their own. The school has extended its support in guiding
students for overseas assignments. This year the school has introduced
“Soft Skills Enhancement” courses for the students to help them sharpen
their communication skills and customer care techniques. Anoo’s has also
set up 2 new branches, which has taken the total to 11 branches in
India.
