Army Red wins the inaugural match of the 59th Inter Services Volleyball Championship Hyderabad|India|September'2009: Brigadier Bibhuti Bhushan, Commandant, 1EME Centre inaugurated the 59th Inter Services Volleyball Championship at Eagle Indoor Volleyball stadium, 1EME Centre in Secunderabad cantonment on 22nd Sept. Four teams from Defence Services are taking part in the four-day Championship. The Army Red team won the inaugural league match defeating Army Green by 3-1. In the first two sets Army Red team was in upper hand with 25-22, 25-11. The Army Green tried in the third set 25-21, but the fourth set retained the Army Red by 25-21. In the morning, another match was played, in which Indian Navy team beats Indian Air Force with 25-20, 25-19, 22-25, 25-22. The final match will be held on 25 Sep 2009, 0700hrs at the Eagle Indoor Volleyball Stadium. Reachout's News Bureau  September' 2009
