Ayodhya verdict: Restrictions in City
Hyderabad|India|October'2010:With
a view to maintain public order, peace and tranquillity in Hyderabad City
and present Law & Order situation and security scenario, Commissioner of
Police, Hyderabad City has prohibited every kind of procession, dharna,
rally or public meetings and prohibit any individual/groups of individuals
from making any speech, gesture or displaying pictures, symbols, placards,
flags etc., which is likely to create religious animosity or hatred
between different communities or individuals or is likely to cause
disturbance to the public peace and order in the limits of Hyderabad City,
expect those for which express permission is granted.
The public are hereby informed that any person violating the above orders
shall be liable for prosecution under the law.
The following are exempted from the operation of this order:-
I. Police Officers and personnel on duty.
II. Military personnel on duty.
III. Home Guards on duty.
IV. Bonafide funeral processions.
V. Persons or groups duly exempted by competent authority.
This order shall be in force w.e.f 1800 hrs on 28-09-2010 to 1800 hrs on
04-10-2010.
The Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City has prohibited pillion riding
on two wheelers except where the pillion rider is a woman or a child below
the age of 12 years in the limits of Hyderabad City.This order shall
remain in force between 2100 hrs (9.00 PM) and 0600 hrs (6.00 AM) on the
intervening nights from 28-09-2010 to 04-10-2010.Any persons requiring
exemption from the order may obtain specific permission from the SHOs of
the Police Stations having jurisdiction in writing by producing copies of
Driving Licence and Registration Certificate book.
The public are hereby informed that any person violating the above orders
shall be liable for prosecution under the law.
