“To Kill Cow Means To End Human
Civilization” Book Launched

Hyderabad|India|September'2009: Minister for Higher Education,
Government of AP, D. Sridhar Babu launched the book “To Kill Cow Means To
End Human Civilization”, written by Dr Sahadeva Dasa, President of ISKCON
Secunderabad.
"India lives in its villages" said Mahatma Gandhi. A greater emphasis is
required for saving India’s villages where the heart of this great nation
beats. The development of the country depends on the development of
villages. Cattle and agriculture are the life line of villages.
The book contains in depth research work and solutions to the several
burning problems of India like agriculture, climatic change and
unemployment. India was once upon a time the richest and the most powerful
nation in the world. India again can be reinstated in the same glorious
position if we take the clues from her past. Once upon a time, cow culture
formed the backbone of Indian civilization. Protection of cows ensured a
very robust and sound agriculture and that led to development of all other
sectors.
Today as India has entered 21st century, a sound cattle policy will ensure
sound village economy and sound India. Today the world is one unit and
globalization is indispensable. India has to guard or insulate itself
against detrimental global influences. This will insure India’s momentum
of growth and help it become a world power, once again.
