Hyderabad|India|March'2010: Six years ago, Convergys Corporation, a global leader in relationship management, opened the doors of its state-of-the-art information technology campus in Hyderabad, India. Known as the "City of Pearls," Hyderabad is a major hub for the information technology industry and its location is ideal for global companies like Convergys that need access to the wider Asia Pacific region.

When Convergys opened the 80,000 square foot facility, 400 professionals began providing top quality software research and development, professional services, and operations support for Convergys’ Information Management clients both in Asia Pacific and around the world. Now the high-tech location is celebrating its sixth anniversary. Not only has the staff grown to over 1,100 Convergys employees, the facility has increased in size to 200,000 square feet in Hyderabad’s prestigious HITEC City – the information technology township.

From the beginning, Convergys’ dedicated employees demonstrated their extensive talents and abilities, utilizing state-of-the-art software technologies to provide a range of services that include software development, systems integration, business continuity services, and application maintenance and support. Convergys' Hyderabad team has earned client plaudits for sustained high performance in the delivery of vital Smart BSS solutions.

Convergys employees have also won the praise of their community, given their notable volunteer activity in Hyderabad. In association with the NGO Project 511, Convergys employees have supported the educational needs of over 400 students of the Central Upper Primary School, located in nearby Lingampally. Employee volunteers have donated money to install critical amenities and helped ready a new school building for classes as well as helping school authorities set up a library.
