Hyderabad|India|March'2011: Convergys employees in Hyderabad celebrated seven years of growth and success, at Convergys Hyderabad facility at Hitec City. In 2004, Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), opened its state-of-the-art information technology campus in Hyderabad, a major hub for the information technology industry in India.

To commemorate the occasion, Jatin Jhala, centre head, for Convergys’ Hyderabad facility, lit a ceremonial lamp at the premises, which was specially decorated for the occasion, and special menu for employees was laid at the cafeteria. On 25 March, Convergys employees in Hyderabad who have spent the longest tenures with the company will be felicitated for their consistent contribution to the growth of the organization.

Convergys’ Hyderabad facility, located in HITEC City, has grown to employ over 1000 talented men and women from the 400 professionals it employed when it opened in 2004.

Convergys employees are active in the community, supporting the educational needs of over 400 students of the Central Upper Primary School, located in nearby Lingampally.
