Hyderabad|India|July'2010: Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, Hyderabad-based employees hosted ‘The Grand Fete 2010’ at their work premises to benefit a number of vital community initiatives. The funds would be to support its various community initiative programs in Hyderabad- NGO Project 511, Old age Home and Birds of the Air.

Convergys’ 1,100 employees in the city are actively involved in programs that work towards bringing about a significant and sustainable change in the lives of local men, women and children. The annual Grand Fete augments the funding of three community programs, with proceeds helping fulfill needs of children, orphans and the elderly.

Money raised during the fete will help Convergys employees:

* Purchase needed school supplies and equipment for the children of the Central Upper Primary school in Ligampally, a school adopted by Convergys in association with NGO ‘Project 511’

* Provide groceries and medical supplies to Birds of the Air, an orphanage with 80 residents

* Supply groceries and funds for excursions and festival celebrations for the residents of a local old age home

The well-attended fete, one of the key employee-engagement events of the summer, featured stalls hosting a gamut of fun activities and games, as well as craft and food sales and musical entertainment.
