CROSSWORD opens its
55th store in
India and expands with its 5th store in Hyderabad

Hyderabad|India|December'2009: India’s
leading lifestyle bookstore chain launched its 5th store in Hyderabad. The
latest store is located in IT HUB of Cyberabad. This brand new store was
inaugurated by Ingrid E. Newkirk, founder / president of People for The
Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The store takes up a sprawling 3000
sq feet and is located at Cyberabad, Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad. This also
marks the opening of the 3rd Crossword store within 12 months in the city
of Hyderabad.
Crossword’s vision is to create an urban oasis for its customers. The new
store as all other Crossword outlets will stock a wide variety of books,
movies, music, CD-ROMs and stationery, guaranteeing a complete lifestyle
experience.
Ingrid E. Newkirk, founder / president of People for The Ethical Treatment
of Animals (PETA), inaugurated the 5th store in Hyderabad & launched her
book “One Can Make A Difference” which includes essays by Pt. Ravi Shanker,
Mickey Rourke, Martina Navratilova, Dr. Temple Grandin, Oliver Stone, Sir
Paul and Stella McCartney and Moby.
On this gracious occasion Mr. Mohit Gadia, National Operations Manager,
Crossword Bookstores said: “It is a great occasion for us wherein we have
opened our 5th store in Hyderabad. It is also our 3rd store within 12
months and that shows the extent of reading culture present in Hyderabad.
This store being located in the IT hub of Cyberabad we hope to provide
