Hyderabad|India|April'2011: The U.S. Consulate General Hyderabad in association with the Hyderabad Film Club brings the American Documentary Showcase.

Two award-winning documentary films, King Corn and Big River, will be screened at the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills on April 3 from 6 p.m. onwards. The films talk about the ecological effects of commercialization of agriculture.

Travelling from the U.S to participate in the showcase are Mr. Thomas White, Editor of Documentary Magazine and Mr. Tom Shepard, a director and producer of award-winning American documentaries. They will conduct an interactive session on April 6, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at La Makaan on ‘Docu-Mentoring’ for upcoming and aspiring filmmakers with focus on documentary and short films.

Entry to both the events is free and on a first-come-first serve basis.
