City to go dry from 14th -17th April

Hyderabad|India|April'2009: The Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City has issued order that the toddy shops, IML Wine shops, all Bars attached to Restaurants, Military Canteen including Bars in Star Hotels, Restaurants/Hotels, Liquor shops and Clubs(C1-Cat.) serving liquor and other esttablishments situated within the limits of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad shall remain closed from 1600 hours on 14-4-2009 to 0600 hours on 17-4-2009, in connection with the General Elections to Lok Sabha & A.P.Legislative Assembly Constituencies to be held in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on 16-4-2009,in the interest of Public Peace and tranquility.
