Government of Mauritius to use the eProcurement platform of AP

Hyderabad|India|July'2009: Government of Mauritius is keen for
sharing of the eProcurement platform of Government of Andhra Pradesh. The
Chief Minister Dr.Y.S.Rajasekahra Reddy has agreed in principle, for the
proposal of the IT&C department for sharing of the eProcurement platform
of Government of AP with Government of Mauritius, subject to finalization
of business modalities for Transaction Revenue.
The State Government is extending an invitation shortly to a high level
delegation from Government of Mauritius to discuss the modalities for
signing of a MoU among Government of India, Government of AP and
Government of Mauritius in this regard.
The Ministry of External Affairs, GOI has also conveyed it’s no objection
to the proposal for allowing Government of Mauritius to use the
eProcurement platform of Government of Andhra Pradesh and to discuss
modalities for transactions revenue.
A delegation of four members from Govt. of Mauritius has earlier visited
Hyderabad in September 2008 regarding technical assistance and also to
carry surveys/reviews with a view to setting up of eProcurement for the
public services in Mauritius. During the visit, the delegation was given
demonstration on all aspects of eProcurement application like
implementation methodology, business module, and Hardware/Software
functionalities besides interaction with end users, Application Service
Provider, Certifying Authorities and the consultants who are all involved
with GoAP eProcurement platform.
