‘Freemasons Treasure
Hunt’ in aid of charity activities in City on 26th
June
Hyderabad|India|June '2011:
Lodge Keys No.297, a city based primary unit of
Freemasonry, a 3000 years old, one of the oldest
secular fraternal society spread across the globe
is organising ‘Freemasons Treasure Hunt’ in aid of
charity activities here in city on Sunday 26th
June, 2011. Originally it was scheduled on 19th
June, but the same is rescheduled due to TRS
Million Men March and now will be held on 26th
June.
The treasure hunt is being organised by Lodge Keys
No.297 to commemorate and celebrate Universal
Brotherhood Day (which falls on 24th June). The
Treasure Hunt will be flagged off at 7:45 AM on
26th June from St. John’s Freemasons Hall, Near
YWCA, West Marredpally, Secunderabad. About 100
cars comprising of Freemasons, Non-Freemasons and
their family members are expected to participate
in the Treasure Hunt which will beginfrom St.
John’s Freemasons Hall, Near YWCA, West
Marredpally, Secunderabad and will end at
Goshamahal Baradari Masonic Building, Goshamahal,
Hyderabad.
Even non Freemasons members, general public can
also participate in the event. Those who are

Every year June 24 is observed as Universal
Brotherhood Day by Masons all over India. The Day
is to commemorate the spirit of Masonic
brotherhood by undertaking charity and welfare
programs. The Freemasons celebrate the ‘Universal
Brotherhood Day’ all over the country with
enthusiasm and dedication with several
philanthropic, charity and welfare activities.
Giving details Ksheerasagar and Seshu Kumar,
Project Coordinatiors inform that this is the
fourth time in row in Hyderabad that a unit of
Freemasonry is organizing a Treasure Hunt.
They further informed that the First Prize is
worth Rs.25,000/-; Second Prize is worth
Rs.15,000/-; and third prize is worth Rs.10,000/-
. Apart from this several special prizes viz. All
Ladies Car, Senior Citizens Car, Best Dressed
Couple, etc. will also be given. The day will be
marked by several cultural and entertainment
programs to be organized by the family members of
the Freemasons. The event is supported and
sponsored by many organisations.
