 2 Persons held; Seized 278 Fake
Educational Certificates of different Universities
Hyderabad|India|February'2009:
On credible information, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West
Zone, Hyderabad apprehended two accused persons namely 1) B.Gajendra Shiva
prasad and 2) G. Mahendra Reddy and seized 278 fake Educational
Certificates of various Universities from their possession.
The West Zone Task Force team apprehended the accused person B.Gajendra
Shiva Prasad and G. Mahendra Reddy at Model House, Panjagutta and seized
(278) fake educational certificates of Andhra University, Institute of
Advance Studies in Education at Sardar Shahar, Rajasthan, J.R.N. Rajasthan
Vidya Peeth University, Udaipur, Rajasthan, Magadh University, Gaya,
Bihar, University of Technolony and Science, Rayapur, Chatthisgarh,
Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, U.P, Lalbhadur Shashtri Training
Institute, Delhi. etc.
Investigation revealed that the accused persons namely B. Gajendra Siva
Prasad and G. Mahendra Reddy are preparing false and fake educational
certificates in collusion with V.V.Ramana Murthy, Co-ordinator of
J.R.N.Rajasthan Vidypeeth University, Udaipur Rajasthan, Das r/o
Rajahmundry and Rajan Chowdary, Director Swathi Academy, Flat No.309,
Aditya Enclave, Ameerpet, Hyderabad to the ineligible candidates and
collecting huge amounts from them.
So far the accused sold out about hundreds of certificates and collected
Rs.15000/- to Rs.25000/- for each certificate depends on the course and
grade. The police seized 278 fake and fabricated certificates of Degree,
Engineering, M.C.A, M.B.A, M.Sc, B.A., B.com, B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech of
different Universities from the possession accused persons. These fake
certificates are being used for the jobs in call centers, Software,
Marketing etc.
The arrested accused persons along with seized material handed over to
S.H.O, Panjagutta PS for taking necessary action.
The above raid was conducted under the supervision of Sri V.B. Kamalasan
Reddy, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Task Force, Hyderabad and Sri
M.Srinivas Rao, Inspector of Police, West Zone Task Force, Sub-Inspectors
of Police, Y.V.Rao, L.Raja Venkat Reddy, K.Kiran and Raja Shekar Reddy the
Staff of West Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad.
