Herbalife Hosts ‘Live Green Run’ in Hyderabad to support Green and
Healthy Living
Hyderabad|India|February'2010: Herbalife India organized a “Live
Green Run” to raise the general public’s awareness of eco-friendly
environment. Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Ms.
Banda Karthika Reddy and Ajay Khanna, Country Head, Herbalife India
flagged off the run in the presence of Sr. IFS Officer Ms. Rama Lakshmi,
along with 500 Herbalife independent Distributors across the country.
Given the current environmental concerns, Herbalife is focusing on
promoting a green culture both within their environment as well as to the
society. The primary objective of Live Green was to showcase the
importance of healthy living besides the concept of being conscious of the
environment. The run was organized to make every step count towards the
green environment and healthy living, propagating Herbalife’s global
mission of “changing people’s life”.
Commenting on the importance of this initiative, Mr. Bill Rahn, Managing
Director, Asia Pacific, Herbalife commented, “Having completed 10
successful years in India, we have witnessed various changes in people’s
lifestyles. In the light of these developments, we believe that the run is
an extension of our global mission of changing people’s lives and we will
do our best at every stage to ensure that we are offering healthy living
options.”
