Technology Solutions campus Inaugurated at APIIC

Hyderabad|India|January'2011: Honeywell International,
headquartered at Morristown, USA, is a Fortune 100 globally
diversified technology and manufacturing leader engaged in
leveraging IT applications with research and development, in the
areas of Aerospace, Automation and Control Solutions, Transportation

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, has
Inaugurated the Honeywell (a) newly expanded facility, (b) world
class Flight Operation Centre and (c) lay the Foundation stone for
the second phase of the facility on 23rd January, 2011, at APIIC IT
Layout, Nanakramguda.
The 1st phase of the facility which is inaugurated, comprises 1.25
lakhs sft office space constructed at a cost of Rs. 100 crores, at
present employing 600 employees and after fully commissioning will
employ more than 1000 by the end of this year.
The 2nd phase of the Honeywell campus, for which foundation stone is
laid, is proposed to be constructed in a phased manner as an
expansion to its operations.
The Flight Operations Centre of Honeywell launched by the Hon’ble
Chief Minister is a unique and most advanced facility in the world,
and will monitor the flight passage directions and operations using
latest information technology applications.
Honeywell as part of their HR initiative, started, skill development
training-cum-campus recruitment oriented program called “Vajram”, in
association with JNTU-Kakinada, to enable students from multiple
disciplines at both graduation and post-graduation levels to learn
the latest process technologies from Honeywell and build
contemporary skills and competencies to make them industry-ready.
