Hypercity celebrates 1st year in City
Hyderabad|India|August'2010: Hypercity, Hyderabad’s largest
Hypermarket with more than one lakh sq.ft today celebrated the completion
of its successful 1st year of operations at Madhapur, Inorbit Mall.
Hypercity has over 44,000 Products sourced from both local and global
markets to choose from and boasts of quality, distinctive, dominant
assortment at great value.
Centered around the aspect of gratitude towards all Hyderabadis for making
the Hypercity story a success in the city, the celebrations included fun
and rewarding games which ensured customers of all ages had something to
participate in.
A poignant moment was the special invitation extended to children from
Prayas- an NGO that works towards imparting free education, good health
and nutrition for children coming from financially challenged backgrounds.
Initiated towards achieving the theme of ‘Fun day out with Hypercity’,
fifteen (15) girls and boys in the age group of 7-10 were given the
opportunity to draw on the topic ‘The city of my dreams’. Each child
vividly spoke their dreams through their simple yet touching drawings. The
drawings are slated to be kept for public view right at the entrance of
Hypercity.
The RJ actively kept the children on their toes with the very interactive
and fun-educative games with prizes given out to the winners. Special gift
packages with toys, books and school material were also given out to all
the children from Prayas.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Kumar Sourabh, GM-Operations, Hypercity
Hyderabad commented, “Today signifies a very important milestone for us at
Hypercity. It has been a wonderful experience interacting with our
customers and well wishers who have always been ready to encourage us with
their very constructive feedbacks and appreciations. We want to seize this

creating many more memorable occasions with your constant support”
As part of the celebrations, Hypercity will also be organizing a special
and exclusive screening of the film ’Aisha’ for its loyal Discovery Club
members.
The celebrations will continue through the week with fun-filled activities
like Best Birthday Memory Contest, One Minute’ challenge games, Treasure
Hunt, Musical Chair, Darts, Hula Hoops spinning, to name a few with an
abundance of prizes to be won. Hypercity remains open from 10.00 am to
10.00pm daily.
