Hyderabad|India|October'2010: DryWash – a globally acknowledged car washing and cleaning company from Brazil - is hosting ‘Jeep Thrills Challenge’ on October 24^th from 9.30 am at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. 

Jeep Thrills is the largest off-road club in Hyderabad, and the event in Hyderabad is the 5th Edition. It was launched to create an avenue for 4x4 owners all over India to test their SUVs on a real track. Today, the Hyderabad Chapter of Jeep Thrills happens to be the largest. Shams Ahmed, Secretary of the club quotes, “Off roading as a motor sport and as a lifestyle is growing exponentially in India, it is a form of self expression and the passion of the enthusiast reflects in his machine and his temperament and urge to break free from the ordinary”.

Jeep Thrills Challenge involves 4x4 vehicles with all the 4 wheels powered by the engine to enable the vehicles to traverse over terrain that a normal car would not be able to go through. Participants are put to test their off roading skills in their 4x4s and maneuver through the obstacles that could be a water channel, a slush bog, a steep hill or a dive. The diversity of the participants in terms of age & gender, the spirit of adventure and the thrill experiences is mind boggling.

The person who is bringing this revolutionary washing technology to India, Mr. Michael Brian says, “It’s not just about the best SUVs in the country, it’s not just about the most challenging off-road track in the city, it’s not even about being the fastest driver. This segment will exhibit some of the best vintage 4x4 with their original engines. With classics like Willys MB, Ford GPW, CJ2A, M38A1, Jonga, Land Rover, Toyota FJ/BJ and many others on display, this is an absolute must for any auto enthusiast.

4x4 OFF-ROAD CHALLENGE

This segment will be a fascinating contest where the best SUVs on Indian roads will compete on a specially designed challenging off-road track. This segment will have separate contests for the 4x4 and 4x2 categories. The following are eligible for the 4x4 contest:

Short Wheelbase Jeep (MB, GPW, CJ2A, CJ3A, CJ5, M38A1, CJ3B etc.,) Medium/Long Wheelbase Jeep (Classic, CL340, MM5X0, Other Mahindra 4x4s etc.,) Entry Level SUV (Scorpio, Safari, Judo,Gurkha etc.,) Mid Segment SUV (Pajero, Endeavour, Fortuner etc.) High End SUV (Range Rover, LC200, Audi Q7 etc.)

4x2 OFF-ROAD CHALLENGE

The following are eligible for the contest: SUV (Scorpio, Safari) AWD/Single Speed 4WD (Captiva, CRV, X-Trail, Outlander, X3, Q5 etc.) 2WD Jeeps are not allowed
