LEADER Gets ‘U’ Certificate

Hyderabad|India|December'2009: Rana Daggubati’s most anticipated debut movie ‘LEADER’ produced by AVM Productions, written and directed by Shekar Kammula cleared the Censor formalities on December 17, 2009.

LEADER is an intense political drama. The film is expected to attract not only the youth but also all classes of audiences. So impressed were the censor board members with its narration that they gave ‘LEADER’ a standing ovation and awarded a ‘U’ certificate.

“LEADER is an honest film and represents the aspirations of each and every citizen’s dream of an ideal leader. We thank the censor board for passing the film without any major cuts and I hope the audience will appreciate the earnest attempt made by the film makers.” debutant actor Rana Daggubati said.

Richa Gangopadhay and Priya Anand play the lead roles along with Rana Daggubati in the film. The music for the movie is scored by Mickey J Meyer.

The Theatrical release date for the film is soon to be announced.
