Livewire 2010 Rocked The V
~The flagship event celebrated 5 years of showcasing the cultural talent
of IT professionals~
Hyderabad|India|May'2010: The V, an Ascendas IT Park at Madhapur
organized ‘Livewire 2010’, the annual mega cultural event on May 28, 2010.
Into its fifth year, Livewire has achieved cult status in celebrating
talent, with professionals from the companies operating in the Park
showcasing their talent in various cultural activities like solo singing,
solo & group dance, skits, fashion shows and many more.
This year’s event too saw an overwhelming response from the Parkites at
The V. A total of 600 employees were screened in a month-long audition
process and subsequently the semi finals. The shortlisted participants
made it to the grand finale. Explosive, energetic, invigorating and
magical are some of the words to describe this year's experience at
Livewire 2010 with the excited audience cheering their colleagues
performing on the stage. The panel of judges represented various
organizations within the Park.
Mr. M Bharani, Head Ascendas Hyderabad said, “We are glad to host an event
like Livewire that has created buzz and excitement in the campus for five
consecutive years. These events provide an excellent forum to bring out
the immense talent housed in our Parks. I thank our sponsors, all
participants and the organizations for being a part of this event.”
The contest gets tougher every year and the organization winning in
maximum number of categories becomes the Champion. The “Champion –
Livewire 2010” was Rhythm and Hues team, winning in the maximum number of
categories.
With over 37 companies and 10,000 employees, Ascendas events generate lots
of excitement and participation amongst the employees reiterating the work
and play balance, synonymous with the organization.
