M.Mohan adjudged winner of ‘Man of the Town’ title
for Hyderabad

Hyderabad|India|December'2010: The Fair & Lovely Max Fairness Man
of the Town hunt in Andhra Pradesh drew to a brawny finale with the announcement of the winners from various towns across the
state. Large number of youths battled it out in competitions held in Nizamabad, Warangal, Kurnool, Kakinada, Khammam, Guntur, Tirupati,
Nellore, Vizag, Rajahmundry Vijayawada and Hyderabad that kept the
excitement levels high in the entire state. Fair & Lovely Max
Fairness, the country’s leading Men’s Fairness cream announced the
Man of the Town Hunt in November, which was received with
unprecedented response from the young men in Andhra Pradesh that
started on 29th November, 2010.
The various obstacles included intensive time-crunched activities
such as the Tarzan swing, Mouse crawl, Tire swing, and many more
with a large crowd from across the state cheering them on. The hunt
spanned over several locations across Andhra Pradesh, with around
160 in Hyderabad, 30 locations each in Nizamabad, Warangal, Kurnool,
Kakinada and Khammam, 45 in Guntur, 36 in Tirupati and Nellore, 50
in Vizag, 40 in Rajahmundry and 55 in Vijayawada.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Govind Rajan, General Manger, Skin
Care- HUL said, “We are overwhelmed with the response and would like
to thank all the participants in making the contest a huge success.
Through this initiative, our endeavor was to encourage young talent
by providing them with a platform to boost their confidence and gain
the fame and glory through the title that would create a stepping
stone to their future success.”
Today in Hyderabad, the hunt was carried out in Nizam College,
Loyola College, Badruka College, JNTU and Bhavan’s New Science
College amongst several others. The young men were ecstatic to gain
the chance to prove their physical strength and attain the Man of
the Town title with the Bajaj Pulsar. They battled well and hard but
in the end 17-year-old M. Mohan proved to be the Man of the Town in
the grand finale which was held in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of
Management & Technology. The Winner M. Mohan, a 1st Year
Intermediate (CEC) student of New Government College, Kukatpally and
resident of IDA Jeedimetla said, “I am lost for words! I cannot
believe that I have actually won the Man of the Town contest! I’m
very thankful to Max Fairness for the opportunity to showcase our
ability and I feel so much more confident with this win. “
In Vizag the hunt was successfully carried in several locations
including Nalanda College, Huda Park, Narayana College and RTC
Complex wherein many young enthusiastic men participated in various
endurance tests from which the finalists were selected to compete at
a grand finale held at on a 4th of December. 22-year-old Md. Mushtaq
won the max fairness Man of the Town title and walked away with a
Bajaj pulsar bike. Son of a Railway employee, Md. Mushtaq who is
pursuing B.Com. from Andhra University and resides at Dondaparty,
Visakhapatnam said, “I had never thought I would win the title. For
me this title means a lot now I feel like I am on the top of the
world. I thank Max Fairness for giving me this opportunity.”
In Rajahmundry the hunt was carried out in Rajiv Gandhi degree, V T
Junior College, Kala Nikethan Shopping Mall, GIET Engineering
College and many others. The enthusiastic response of the young men
proved to be a booster in motivating each contestant to push
themselves harder and further to achieve the Man of the Town Title.
The grand finale was held in Rajahmundry Stadium on the 4th of
December which announced 20-year-old V. Gautam as the Man of the
Town winning the Bajaj Pulsar Bike. A bike mechanic’s son, Gautam
who is pursuing B.Tech. (3rd year) from Rajamahendri Institute of
Engineering & Technology, Rajahmundry and resides at Danavaipeta
said, “This is unbelievable. It wouldn’t have been possible if Max
Fairness hadn’t given us the chance to show our strengths and
actually give us the chance to win a bike!”
The excitement, hopes and dreams of these young men in Andhra
Pradesh were the driving factors for making Fair and Lovely Max
Fairness Man of the Town a rounding success.
