Military Hospital Sec'bad celebrates 246th Army Medical Corps anniversary

Hyderabad|India|January'2010: Military Hospital Secunderabad Celebrated 246th Army Medical Corps anniversary on 2nd Jan 2010 at Officers Mess Military Hospital, Trimulgherry Secunderabad.

Offg Comdt Col S Srinivasan with other senior officers welcomed all guests including all retired Army Medical Corps and Army Dental Corps officers and their spouses. Lt Gen I J Singh VSM Comdt MCEME / Maj Gen A V Subramanian VSM Dy Comdt MCEME was the Chief Guest, who graced the occasion among other dignitaries.
Serving Army Medical Corps and Army Dental Corps officers of Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Golconda Garrisons and Air force units of Begumpet, Hakimpet, Dundigal and Bidar were also amo ng the hosts.

Many renowned civil doctors from prestigious institutes of twin city were also invited.

Army Medical Corps came into existence on 1st Jan 1764 when all doctors serving in the Presidency of Bengal were incorporated into regular medical service and since then Army Medical Corps celebrates the occasion. The motto of Army Medical Corps is “SARVE SANTU NIRAMAYA” which means that let all be free from disease and disability.
