Taj Krishna Hosts Moon Cake Festival
Hyderabad|India|October'2009:
Taj Krishna is
hosting Moon Cake Festival at its signature Chinese restaurant
Golden Dragon. The festival is from October 18 to 25, 2009.
The age old Autumn Moon legend comes alive as Chef Hung Fong Ng
recreates the exotic, colourful Chinese Moon festival with delicious
moon cakes and special menu of exquisite specialties. The most
revered and widely celebrated of the Chinese holidays; the festival
enjoys worldwide popularity and represents togetherness and harmony.
The Moon Cake Festival is often compared to a sort of “Chinese
Thanksgiving” because of its spirit of gratitude and its inclusion
of abundant food — including the popular moon cake.
Enjoy traditional mooncakes – symbolic of the full moon – round
pastries filled with lotus seed paste with one to four egg yolks, or
the newer varieties with nuts, red bean paste, fruits and coffee
flavour. Besides the symbolic mooncakes, Golden Dragon brings to the
table many Chinese delicacies like braised chilly crab meat, stir
fried tenderloin and shingdow dry black pepper lamb.
Come over for a lavish lunch or dine in the light of a full,
perfectly round, moon symbolic of family togetherness, bonds of
friendship and romance. The Moon Cake festival is a la carte for
lunch and dinner.
