Dr. P H Naik, Dy. Registrar at the University
of Hyderabad has been recently appointed as
the Registrar of the Nagaland (Central)
University for a period of five years.
Dr. Naik born in 1955 has a very strong
academic background. After completing MA
(Sociology) in 2006, he has done his M. Phil
in Management in 2007 and later went on to
complete his Ph. D in management in 2008. Dr.
Naik has also presented papers in national and
International Seminars and Conferences. He has
also published articles in Indian and Foreign
Journals. His publications are in the area of
Gandhian Constructive Programme, Economic
Appraisal of Village and Small Industries,
Project Planning & Management, Gandhian
Economic Thought, Economic Models of Gandhi-Kumarappa;
Nehru-Ambedkar and Business Finance.

Dr. Naik is serving the University of Hyderabad as Dy. Registrar from 31st
December 1992. He also served as the Registrar of Indira Kala Sangeet
Vishwavidyalaya (Chattisgarh State) from July 2005 to October 2005. In
addition Dr. Naik has worked as Extension Officer of Industries in State
Government and as Director in the Central Government (1981 to 1992);
International Consultant (1991-92) and as a Consultant to the Government
of AP (1993-98).
Dr. Naik is an expert in Project Planning, Project Financing,
Infrastructure Planning and Development. He specializes in research
projects funding. Dr. Naik has undergone training in diverse areas of
Industry, Education and Training. He has also been Resource Person to many
Institutions, Colleges, Universities and Training Centres.
