also signifies a big step in our commitment to businesses in India and our
expansion plans,” he added.
As part of the cloud computing services vision, Netmagic is offering
three services namely - CloudNet, CloudServe and PrivateCloud.
The move is designed to address key challenges of IT departments
allowing them to maintain availability of applications without having to
invest double the amount of capital expenditure in hardware and software.
It will also provide companies with the benefit of scaling and reducing
compute resources as per business demands without having to worry about
hardware management issues. Finally, through these services, IT
departments will be able to contribute to the green initiative by
subscribing to a service rather than having to underutilize in-house
resources.
These services are vertical agnostic and can be deployed for varied
applications and OS platforms. Key features of Netmagic Cloud Computing
Services include the following-

ability to create a complete IT infrastructure including servers
(web/DB/application), firewalls, load balancers and switches by deploying

needs of mid size Internet Companies (ICE) for hosting portals, DR and
testing needs and for traditional enterprises through the CloudNet

on-demand basis depending on varying business needs. CloudServe services
are ideal for hosting of business applications for SMBs.

addressed through PrivateCloud services.
Netmagic has established itself as a leading provider in mission
critical application hosting by providing best in industry services and
uptimes. With these services Netmagic will be able to bring its customers
the latest and the best services, thereby empowering them to manage
business cycles.
Elucidating on the vast benefits of such services especially during the
downturn, Sharad Sanghi, CEO and MD, Netmagic Solutions revealed that
these services will enable companies to save capital by subscribing to IT
infrastructure as a service. In addition to this, this new offering will
help by optimizing resource utilization and saving on power and space
costs for IT infrastructure. In fact, the biggest advantage of such a
service is that companies can avoid spending today and be ready for
scaling on demand when the economy starts growing by using the cloud
platform. According to Sanghi, customers will be able to cut costs by at
least 20-25% through these services.
The company differentiates itself on the robustness of infrastructure,
managed services support and their ability to offer the entire IT
infrastructure in the cloud. For this service the company will bill
customers on resources used on a per hour basis model. The prices will
depend on amount of resources required and duration of use.
With continued innovations through the launch of industry leading
services in the areas of Remote Infrastructure Management and SAP
Application Management in the last year, this new offering of Netmagic is
in line with the company’s ongoing expansion plans
