‘New Club celebrates 73rd Annual Day

Hyderabad|India|May '2011:City based 'New Club' — The Family and Sports Club celebrated its 73rd Club Annual Day at its premises here at West Marredpally, Secunderabad on Sunday till late night. The day also commemorates the 114th birthday of its founder President M.G. Laxminarsu. The Club Annual Day is regularly celebrated on 12th June every year. But, the same was advanced due to the onset of the monsoons and rains. The club management committee made elaborate arrangements for the same. A fun-filled Orchestra, Mega Tambola was organised and prizes were distributed to the winners.

Many melodious Telugu and Hindu numbers, yesteryear films were sung. Guests were entertained uninterruptedly for four hours. Fun games and entertainment activities were organised especially for children. Guests were treated to a feast with delicious cuisines.

A birthday cake was cut on the occasion. G. Pratap Reddy, President; Harnad, Vice President, Committe members Srinivas Rao, Naresh Kumar Yadav, N. Dwaraknath, Capt Venkatesh and others graced the function.

About 1000 members and their members graced the occasion. The club has 1350 members on its rolls.
