Akbaruddin Owaisi shot in Hyderabad on 30th April
2011.The Chief
Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy rushed to the Owaisi
Hospital to visit MIM Floor Leader
Akbaruddin Owaisi who is undergoing treatment
there after an unexpected attack. He has directed
the top health officials to provide all the
required meidical care to Mr Akbaruddin.
The Chief Minister spent almost one hour and
conferred with the Majilis MLAs and MLCs present
there and enquired about the incident that took
place. Earlier when the Chief Minister was
participating in the inaugural function of the
ESIC Super Speciality Hospital at Sanathnagar, he
was informed about the incident. The Chief
Minister immediately talked to MIM Parliament
Member Asaduddin Owaisi over phone and enquired
about the incident. He rushed to the Secretariat
and held an emergency meeting and reviewed the
situation with Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy,
Chief Secretary S V Prasad, DGP Aravind Rao and
other top officials.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to take
all precautionary measures to maintain peace and
order. He then immediately rushed to the Owaisi
Hospital to see Mr Akbaruddin. Along with the
Chief Minister, Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar,
Minister for Panchayatiraj, K Jana Reddy, Home
Minister Sabita Indra Reddy, Minister for Women
and Child Welfare Sunitha Laxma Reddy, Vice
Chairman, National Disaster Management Authority,
Marri Sasidhar Reddy, MPs V Hanumantha Rao, Anjan
Kumar Yadav, Mayor of Hyderabad, Banda Karthika
Chandra Reddy and others rushed to the hospital.
The Chief Minister discussed the incident and the
health condition of Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi with the
Majilis MLAs who were in the Owaisi Hospital,
Virasat Rasool Khan, Muktada Khan, Syed Ahmed
Pasha Qadri, Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, Mohd. Mauzam Khan
and MLCs Syed Amin Jaffri, Altaf Hyder Rizvi and
other leaders.
