Hyderabad|India|November'2009: : Lt. Colonel SK Lakra won the Second Edition of Patron’s Cup Golf with zero handicap and 77 score points. The Second edition of PATRON'S CUP GOLF TOURNAMENT was held at the Eagle Environment Park and Training Area (EEPTA) Golf Course, 1 EME Centre in Secunderabad on 15 Nov’ 2009. The tournament was conceptualised by Brigadier Bibhuti Bhushan, Patron of the Golf Course and Commandant, 1 EME Centre.

The tournament had 200 participants. The best Golfers of the twin cities participated in the tournament. The first edition of Patron Cup was held on 28 Dec 2008 to promote competitive spirit in budding and seasoned golfers. The Prize Distribution Ceremony cum Gala Night for the second edition of Patron’s Cup Golf Tournament was held at 1 EME Centre Officers’ Mess.

Lt General IJ Singh, Commandant, MCEME along with his wife graced the occasion as the Chief Guests. All golfers who participated in the tournament and their spouses attended the evening function. The gathering also featured representatives of the sponsors for various events and prizes. The Gala Night started with melodious songs by the eminent artist Poonam Bhatia.
