US Consulate General to hold Pre-Departure Orientation for Students in City

Hyderabad|India|July'2010: Students from the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad can find answers to their questions about studying and cultural aspects about the United States at a pre-departure orientation session for students planning to enter U.S. universities in the fall of 2010.

The U.S. Consulate General, Hyderabad, in association with Osmania University Center for International Programs (OUCIP), will present a pre-departure orientation for students at OUCIP, Friday July 30, 2010, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The program will cover academic and cultural aspects of life in the United States and practical tips for students. Students who have been issued visas and are preparing their departure for the U.S. are encouraged to attend the program.

U.S. Vice Consuls Benny Padilla, Jane Carter and Greg Rankin will meet students at the recently opened Satellite Information Center (SIC) at OUCIP.
