Punjagutta-Ameerpet road to be made wider

Hyderabad|India|June'2009: Road widening works have taken up near Punjagutta Junction towards Ameerpet and about 42 buildings were demolished since few days to widen the road to a width of 150 ft. Presently the road width is about 100 ft said the Chief City Planner Sri Purushotham Reddy in city.

The Commissioner Sri S.P. Singh along with senior officers of GHMC inspected the road widening works today and the Commissioner instructed the Engineer – in – Chief to complete the laying of new road works immediately. The GHMC has proposed to widen the 100 ft road to 150 ft from Punjagutta Jn to Erragadda for an easy traffic flow, he said.

The Chief City Planner has informed that the Road Widening works taken up at Erragadda were completed and it was widened to 150 ft.
