Secretary, Y.Narender Reddy, Secretary General, IJU, K.Sreenivas Reddy,
Secretary, HUJ, Mr.V.Yadagiri, A.P.Electronic Media Journalists Assn.,
President, C.Hariprasad and Vice President, A.P.Photographers Assn.,
Mr.K.Ravikanth Reddy tmet the Chief Minister Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy at
camp office and submitted a memorandum strongly condemning the inhuman
attack on Sakshi newspaper office and its journalist, Mr.Rajasekhar at
Tadipatri, Anantapur district on Monday.
The Chief Minister assured the delegation that all needful action would be
initiated by the government and the real culprits would be brought to
book. He has directed the S.P., Anantapur, Mr. M.K.Singh to have a
thorough investigation into the ghastly incident but not to jump to
conclusions. He wanted him to take the incident seriously and identify the
culprits at the earliest. He also directed the Health officials to provide
required quality Medicare to Mr.Rajasekhar, the victim of the incident in
any super specialty hospital in the State.
