‘Sanskriti 2010’-national B-school fest inaugurated in City

Sanskriti was Inaugurated
by Dr. Jamshed J Irani, Director, TATA Sons Ltd. on 3rd Nov 2010 at
Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad in the presence of Dr. P Rama
Rao, President, Board of Governors, Institute of Public Enterprise, Shri
Shekar Agarwal, President, FAPCCI, Shri M Narayana Rao, Chairman and
Managing Director, Midhani, Prof. R.K. Mishra, Director, IPE.
Dr. Irani, spoke about the values to be imbibed by the individuals which
helps in good corporate governance. He further spoke about the menace of
corruption, casteism, climate change and corporate’s responsibility to
give back to the society.
He quoted instances from his experiences of TATA Group about how positive
discrimination helps in the growth of the under privileged strata of the
society and also the growth of any organization. He urged the community of
younger generation to stick to values, commitment and ethics.
Dr. Rama Rao, addressed the students on management and values while Shri
Shekar Agarwal, expressed his desire to have a continued association of
FAPCCI with IPE in the long run. Shri. Narayana Rao, stressed the
importance of skills of management in any technical area. Prof. Mishra has
welcomed the guests and he has felt that it was an honor that Sanskriti
had an eminent personality Dr. Irani to inaugurate the fest.
‘Sanskriti 2010’ a national B-school fest has started in a grand scale
with the inspiring speech of Dr. J J Irani. There are about 1000
participants that include students from reputed management institutes. The
inter college competitions are being organized the winners and runners
would be given cash prizes worth Rs. 3,00,000. Students are going to
perform in various cultural events during the eve of both the event days.
