Cinephiles Hyderabad, an online community of movie aficionados is
organizing a Short Film Festival, in association with SHAMIANA from
Mumbai.
The festival, "Cut it short" will have
screening of short movies from
international film festivals like Cannes and also by the
independent filmmakers from all over the country.
The event will be in three segments
Segment 1:
Screening of short films by local amateur filmmakers
Segment 2:
Interaction/discussion with movie mavericks like

Neelakanta (Director of Mr.Medhavi, Sada Mee Seva Lo, Nandanavanam
120 kms and Missamma fame)

Mr.
Ramana Gogula (popular music director in the industry who has
several hits to his credit like “Thammudu”, “Badri”,
“Jhonny”, “Yuvaraju”)
§ Mr. Rahul
Nambiar (creative director, the man
behind the special effects of the Telugu hit Arundhati
§
Mr. Nayeem from Pixelloid who
will deliver a session on 'Special Effects and Animation in Movies'
Segment 3:
Screening of short films from Cannes and other International film
festivals.
The festival’s main purpose is to promote
short films and provide a platform for movie enthusiasts to share their
love for cinema.
"Cut It Short", is an attempt to create a
platform for film enthusiasts and aspiring filmmakers to interact with the
established movie mavericks and also to share their passion with
like-minded people.
