Hyderabad|India|November'2009: Ista Hyderabad is hosting “Soul
Curry”- a Sea Food fest at its specialty Indian restaurant, ‘Deori’. The
festival features a wide variety of seafood specialties from 4 prominent
coastal states of India prepared and served in every imaginable way. The
festival which will be on from 7:00 pm onwards from Nov 4th to Nov 15th,
2009 is monitored by Ista’s Executive Chef, Mr. Amit Wadhawan. Ista has
also flown in Chef Robin Roi from Cochin, who is a master of traditional
coastal recipes.
“Soul Curry” is a distinctive collection of recipes from the lush western
and eastern coast of India presenting the exclusive culinary style from
Malayali and Malabari to Manglorean and Goan to the Bay of Bengal regions.
The sea food fest will feature the traditional and most popular cuisines
with fresh fish flown from Arabian Sea everyday.
“Soul Curry” has a grand a la carte menu with starters served out from the
interactive cooking stations with bar-be-que stir fries and fritters
cooked to ones taste and choice. The sea food fest will have a wide range
of dishes like Meen Roast from Calicut , Karwari Mussels, Prawn Balchao,
Crab Zec Zec , Andhra’s fish fry, Royalla Vepudu, Manglorean Fish curry,
Bhappa Chingri , machar Jhol and Paturi from Bengal , Karimeen Polichathu
and chemeen Manga Charu from Kerala. Soul Curry will also have whole some
entertainment of live band with coastal tunes.
