Hyderabad|India|September'2010:Under the Distinguished Lecture series, Prof. N Mukunda, former Professor, IISc, Bangalore, delivered a talk on ‘Space and Time in Life and Science’ at C V Raman Auditorium on the University campus on 28 September 2010.

Prof. Mukunda, presented various dimensions of Space and Time from the era of Egyptians in relation to its evolution with specific quotes of eminent personalities such as Galileo, Isaac Newton, Herodotus and Leibnitz etc., and briefed the contemporary Relative evolution of Biology and Geometry and praised Riemann Geometry and Euclid Geometry in their own perspective.

Prof. Mukunda explained the intricacies of General relativity and special relativity of Prof. Einstein and added that mathematical meaning of Time and Space are the same whereas Physical, Chemical and Biological versions differ.

Prof. Seyed E Hasnain, Vice Chancellor, UoH, presided over the lecture, Prof. Chaturvedi, faculty, School of Physics welcomed the audience, Prof. A K Kapoor, introduced the speaker and Sri. C P Mohan Kumar, Registrar, proposed a vote of thanks.
