TalentSprint’s Inaugural Graduation
Ceremony Marks New Beginning for Graduates
Hyderabad|India|July'2010: TalentSprint (TS) held its inaugural
Graduation Ceremony at the Indian School of Business (ISB) campus to
felicitate 168 ‘Sprint’ graduates who graduated this quarter. These
graduates underwent experiential learning programs in Software Testing and
Software Engineering. More than 85% of these graduates now work with large
multinational corporations which include AppLabs, Polaris, MITS, Virtusa,
and Ivy Comptech.
US Consul General Cornelis M Keur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Ajit Rangnekar (Dean, ISB), Srini Raju (Managing Director, Peepul
Capital), Sashi Reddi (Chairman, AppLabs), B.V.R. Mohan Reddy (Chairman,
Infotech Enterprises) Debashish Ganguly (SVP, Polaris) and Moorthy
Uppaluri (GM, Microsoft) were among the other distinguished guests present
at the graduation ceremony.
J. A. Chowdary, Executive Chairman at TalentSprint, congratulated the
Sprint graduates and said, “We are proud of our trainees and are excited
that their hard work has paid off. Our graduates are performing at par
with experienced professionals at many of the organizations. Our
celebration today is the celebration of endless possibilities and new
beginnings for our graduates.”
TalentSprint’s industry programmes create world-class entry-level
professionals for the IT and BFSI sectors. The company expects large scale
demand for trained and certified fresh graduates. Industry estimates show
that there will be a gap of more than 1 lac jobs at the entry level in the
banking sector and 1.6 lacs in the IT industry in the coming years.
In his remarks, Santanu Paul, CEO of TalentSprint said, “We are gratified
by the affirmation we have received from the industry in terms of business
value, social relevance and the quality of our transformation programs. We
build long term relationships with our alumni and believe that self
learning as well as continuing education is essential for our graduates to
build sustainable careers.”
TalentSprint’s fast-track transformation program is experiencing
significant growth as students across the city discover the benefits of
experiential learning Sprint programmes. These are being conducted at the
TalentSprint premises at the IIIT Campus in Hyderabad. Fresh engineering
graduates with minimum 60 per cent marks are eligible to apply.
