Hyderabad|India|March'2009: The Seventeenth TANA Conference will be held at Rosemont Convention Centre in Chicago from July 2nd to 4th, 2009. Addressing a press conference TANA President Prabhakar C. Kakarla said the theme of the conference this time will be "Technoloogy Innovation Celebration". About ten thousand delegates are expected to participate in the same.

Junior NTR has consented to be the Chief Guest. TANA has decided to facilitate Popular Singer, Music Director, Actor, Padmasri S.P. Balasubramanyam with Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution to the music world. A live music concert of S.P Balasubramanyam will also be held during the three day meet.

Many luminaries from Telugu film industry such as Murali Mohan, Allari Naresh, Raghu Babu, Uttej, Rajeev Kanakala, Swathi(Asta Chemma Fame), Suma(TV Host) etc and Sirivennela, Chandrabose, Suddala, Mano and Goreti Venkanna have also confirmed their participation.

TANA has also invited Mr. Pat Quinn, Governor of Illinois State for the inaugural session and Ms. Padmasree Warrier, Chief Technology Officer, CISCO for the Business Seminar. TANA is also planning to invite the Chief Minister of A.P as the Chief Guest.

TANA spends approximately one million US dollars every year on service activities in Andhra Pradesh.
