Hyderabad|India|April'2011:Considering India has an age-old tradition of festivals intricately woven into the lives of people and celebrated with zeal and fervor - true to this, employees of Uninor as well have ushered in Ugadi in absolute festivity.

All employees were traditionally dressed in silk wear complementing the Ugadi themed office décor with mango leaves! An intrinsic part of the celebrations was the ‘Ugadi Pachadi Competition’ wherein all teams (Marketing, HR, Technology etc) were asked to bring in different ingredients used during the preparation of pachadi after which they were asked to prepare the Ugadi Pachadi in their own styles. The team that created the most authentic taste was awarded a special prize!

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Satish Kumar Kannan, Business Head, AP Circle , Uninor said, ‘At Uninor we respect and celebrate festivals of different faiths. It was quite an encouragement to see all our employees participate wholeheartedly in all the different aspects of the Ugadi celebrations”
