Hyderabad|India|July'2012: Universal Construction Machinery and Equipment Ltd, one of the largest Construction equipment companies in India with exports to more than 45 countries expands to Andhra Pradesh. The company commenced its retail business in Andhra Pradesh with the launch of its Universal Exclusive at Hyderabad. This is Universal's ninth Exclusive Store in the country. The Universal exclusive store will display vertical material handling and concreting equipments. The Showroom will also take care of after sales and spares. Universal Exclusive Store is located at Acme Concrete Mixers Pvt. Ltd., 1-8-19, Main Road, Ramgopalpet, Secunderabad area. The company will launch its exclusive stores in Chennai, Cochin and Bangalore in South India soon.

Universal Construction Machinery and Equipment Ltd. which manufactures world-class high quality construction equipments has aggressive plans for its retail business pan India and will expand its retail format to cities like Srinagar and Jaipur in next two to three months and will launch a total of 35 stores in next two years across India.

Speaking on the expansion plans in South India Ranjit More said that there are a lot of infrastructure projects coming up in South India. Universal already has a strong presence with about 70% market share for products like reversible mixers. To further augment the sales we will be opening exclusive stores in Chennai, Cochin and Bangalore soon. The company already has exclusive showrooms at Surat, Nagpur, Patna, Coimbatore and Siligudy. The Hyderabad Store is an Exclusive Store. The reason for opening up such a store is to cater to the ever growing infrastructure needs of South India. The customer will be able to see all the equipments at one single point, and also get after sales service.

Further speaking on the occasion Ranjit More, MD, Universal Construction Machinery and Equipment Ltd. said that the company will expand its retail format to all major cities in India. Ranjit More added that "Our retail format business is divided into three initiatives viz. Universal Exclusive Stores, Universal Constore and Universal Signature Stores. Universal Exclusive Stores will house all Universal Brands and will be run by franchisees. These will be opened in Metros as well as Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Universal Signature Stores will host the premium and high end equipments of Universal like batching plants and reversible drum mixers while “Universal Constore” outlets will host all the leading brands in construction equipment apart from Universal.
