University of Hyderabad Admissions from July 27
Hyderabad|India|July'2009: Based on the performance of the written
test conducted by the University of Hyderabad on All India basis for
admission to different courses, during 1st week of June, short listed
candidates were interviewed during 1st/2nd week of July, 2009.
Based on the performance of the candidates in the written test followed by
the interview, candidates selected and wait listed for different PG,
Integrated M.A. & M.Sc. in certain subjects, M.Phil., M.Tech. and Ph.D.
programmes have been notified for which admissions will be taken up from
27th to 31st July, 2009. The wait lists will be operated on 1st & 3rd
August as notified. Individual communications for the candidates selected
and also wait listed were already sent. However, candidates are advised to
make use of the University’s website for knowing their result. Necessary
formats are also available on the University’s website for downloading. As
was notified in the Prospectus, the candidates were informed about their
selection/the position of wait list by ordinary post. The University will
not be responsible for any postal delay.
As per the admission schedule, the candidates selected should report in
person along with all their original certificates and other documents.
Proxy will not be entertained.
Regarding the Integrated M.Sc. courses in Mathematical Sciences, Physics,
Chemical Sciences, Systems Biology and Optometry and Vision Sciences, the
applicants who are possessing KVPY scholarship/IIT-JEE 2009 All India
Rank/Extended Rank have been called for admission Counseling on 4th
August, 2009. They have also been informed by ordinary post and they may
make use of the University’s website for downloading the documents
required, if they do not get the call letters sent by the University well
before the scheduled dates. These candidates are required to complete the
admission on the counseling day itself, if the admission is granted by
paying the fee and depositing all their original certificates with the
University.
The candidates granted admission under OBC category must bring OBC
certificate in the prescribed form which is also available on the
University’s website. If any body under OBC category fails to bring the
certificate will not be considered for admission.
