U.S. Consulate General Launches Appointment System for American Citizen
Services
Hyderabad|India|March'2010: The American Citizen Services Unit at
the U.S. Consulate General in Hyderabad will require appointments for all
non-emergency services beginning on March 4, 2010. Appointments at the
U.S. Consulate General in Hyderabad can be made online at
www.hyderabad.usconsulate.gov
The appointment system will help improve customer care and reduce wait
times for routine services such as passport applications, adding extra
pages to passport, reporting the birth of American citizens in India, and
notary services.
To further increase efficiency, customers for passport services are
required to complete their forms online at https://pptform.state.gov/ and
bring the printed application and all required documents to their
appointments. Details about required information and links to all forms
are found on the consulate’s website at
www.hyderabad.usconsulate.gov
Emergency services are always available without an appointment.
