Hyderabad|India|December'2008: The Volley Sports (India) Pvt. Ltd., which is an official Women Beach Volley Ball promoter in coordination with University of Hyderabad, is taking up different activities to promote Women Beach Volley Ball in India. The Volley Ball Federation of India (VFI) has granted permission to Volley Girl Project to conduct selections, training, and promotion of Women Beach Volley Ball in India. The Volley Sports (India) Pvt. Ltd. ultimately aims to prepare Indian Women Beach Volley Ball teams to field at 2016 Olympics. For this, there will be Talent Hunt selections at Delhi during the month of February 2009. The selected prospective women beach Volley ball players will be trained at the centres of excellence for beach Volley ball in various parts of the country. Sufficient funds have been earmarked for the final selected 21 women Volley ball players for their training, education, travel and accommodation etc.

For this talent hunt, entries are solicited on team basis (Universities, Colleges and Private teams) and individual basis.
