Hyderabad|India|March'2009: Engineering is the career of choice for millions of students, who are pursuing their Plus Two or Intermediate, across India. The students from Andhra Pradesh are staying on top regardless of the qualifying examination (entrance for IIT, BITS or EAMCET) for admission in the colleges located here and elsewhere in India. In Andhra Pradesh around Three lakh students appear for EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural & Medical Common Entrance Test) every year. It is observed that most students and their parents do not have an idea of what are all the Engineering Colleges available, Courses offered, Curricula of each Course, Prospects of each Course etc. In this light of this background, Supra Associates announces ‘Way 2 Engineering!’ a thirteen episode TV show on Engineering Education to be telecast in a popular TV channel, TV5.

Giving details Mr. C.V. Subba Row, Chief Executive - Supra Associates, who is also Editor, Publisher & Managing Director of Telugu Times, the First Global Telugu Newspaper published from San Jose / New Jersey in USA since February 2004 said, "Supra Associates functioning all along for Non-Resident Telugu community has now decided to enter into media with a TV show and proposed this most needy topic. He informed that Popular Writer, Motivator and Personality Development Trainer, Mr Yandamoori Veerendranath will be the Anchor cum Quiz Master for this TV Show. Mr Yandamoori is already working on a mission of educating students on ‘How and why to study?’, ‘How to become No 1?’ and also conducting Training programmes in Educational Institutions, Engineering colleges etc. The TV show will have the participation of Engineering Colleges through their students and also Experts from Education and Industry segments. The Show will have three Rounds viz. on Colleges, Courses and on Careers; and will give this much needed information to the audience through Quiz master's questions and Teams' answers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Yandamoori Veerendranath said that Way 2 Engineering is Infotainment TV Show involving students & management of Engineering Colleges and is very much needed at this juncture. He also said that several Intermediate students who could score good marks in both Inter and EAMCET, could not answer simple things about the Engineering Education as we dont develop that kind of mind set to our students/ children nor we have enough facilities for that task. The TV Show will be in telugu with a small mix up of english and will be telecast on Sunday mornings prime time from 24 May 2009 onwards, he added.
