manufacturer with over 175 years in the service of precision and elegance
of time felicitated ace Indian Badminton players Saina Nehwal, Chetan
Anand and Pullela Gopichand with a watch worth Rs One Lakh Forty thousand
each here at World Badminton Championship 2009 Dinner held on Saturday
night in a city hotel.
Mr. Claude Jaunin, Regional Sales Manager Asia Pacific, Longines gave away
Longines Conquest watch to Saina Nehwal, currently ranked 7th in the world
by the Badminton World Federation; Chetan Anand, currently ranked 14th in
the world who left for an International Tournament could not attend
personally to receive the Grande Vitesche watch and the same was presented
to his wife Jwala, who is also an ace Badminton player.
Indian Badminton team Coach Pullela Gopichand was also honoured with Dolce
Vita watch.
Longines is the well known Swiss watchmaker whose history is closely
linked with that of sports timing.

The World Badminton Championship 2009 Dinner hosted by Longines was
graced by Young Joong Kang, President, World Badminton Federation, several
bureaucrats from state and Government of India and many who’s who of
Badminton world.

example of the know how of Longines design team on the occasion. It is the
