to be the best destination for Investments in Garment sector

The Chief Minister Mr N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said Hyderabad would be the best destination for the investments in Garment sector in the entire world.
While speaking at a meeting organised by the Garment Manufacturers at the Dynasty Club in Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong, Mr Naidu said an apparel park was opened in Hyderabad which would be best place for investing in the garments sector.
He observed that Visakhapatnam and Kakinada were well developed seaports and would be ideal and highly beneficial for import activities. He assured full cooperation if any investor came forward to launch operations in Hyderabad. The state government would also impart training and update the skills of labour and brace them up for the benefit of the foreign investors. It would also extend every possible facility including Video conferencing.
Mr Naidu said that the state government was committed to giving a major fillip to Garments industry which would hike the employment opportunities for the skilled
labour.
Principal Secretaries Industries Mrs Sheela Bhide and Mr Gopala Rao interacted with the Garment manufacturers on various issues.
Some of Garment Industrialists who took part in the meeting were Mr Aroop Chotrani of Masse Marketing Limited, Mr James S Paul of JSP International, Mr Arunachalam of AR International Limited, Mr Albert W P Tung of South Ocean Group of Companies and Mr Buta Singh of Ko Whi International.
