holds talks with the biggest Computer group in China:
During his discussions on Monday with the Founder Group, which was the biggest Computer Group in China, the Chief Minister Mr.N.Chandrababu Naidu called for cooperation of Peking University Founder Group Corporation with the IIIT in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister said that Hyderabad stands first in Information Technology and it was aimed to produce ten thousand graduates as I.T professionals every year through the newly set up IIIT in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister called for close cooperation from the Founder Group for the IIIT to fulfill this objective. He said that several multi-national corporate houses had already opened their offices in Hyderabad and he requested the Founder Group to follow the suit and open its office in the Hardware Park of Hyderabad soon.
Founder Group leads in Electronic Engineering and supplies software to the Ministry, Major Municipalities and the Newspaper. This corporation was playing a key role in supply of software to Television and Radio Station, Fingerprints identification and Internet related technology. It produces Personal Computers, Monitors, Laser printers and scanners in the hardware sector. The Founder Group was also known for synchronisation of treatment in chemical industry and also earth metals processing. It captured 80 per cent of the Chinese market in the world.
Mr.Liu Qiuyun, Vice President of the Founder Group promised the Chief Minister that their corporation would take a decision on Exchange Programme with IIIT after detailed discussions with the members of the Group. Mr.Liu said that he was anxious to visit Hyderabad in an opportune time.
Minister, Finance, Mr.Y.Ramakrishnudu; Minister, Industries, Mr.K.Vidyadhara Rao and officials of the team participated.Mr.Tan Zhonghua represented the Communist Party of China on the occasion.
