Construction Workers Training Institute completes 2 yrs in City |
Construction Worker's training Institute (CWTI),a constituent unit of National Academy of
Construction (NAC),Hyderabad, parented by CIDC, New Delhi,has completed two years of its pioneering efforts in Human Resources Development and Training of Construction
Workers, at its premises within the NAC Campus,madhapur near HItech City,Hyderabad.
According to a press release,CWTI which has been hitherto conducting training courses for six
six construction trades under the CIDC/IGNOU trade competency programme,
is planning to widen its scope to more than 40 specialised construction trades.CWTI would also like to widen its reach through distance learning and virtual training on the net.In order ot achieve
this objective the parenting body CIDC has taken yet another initiative by making arrangements with the Hyderabad based Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University(BRAOU).
The CWTI and BRAOU are scheduled to jointly oragnise the First national Seminar on HRD Initiatives for Indian Construction Industry here at Ramada Hotel on 11th March'2001 and is likely to be attended by a galaxy of construction industry majors of India.
