City to host Dubai type shopping Festival in Sept

A shopping festival ,recreation of 500 year old ethnic bazaar in Golconda Fort, inauguration of the first heritage walk in the walled city and other interesting events would mark the celebration of the World Tourism celebration on September 27 in Hyderabad.

A month long shopping festival would be organized on the lines of the famous Dubai Shopping Festival. Several representatives of companies and agencies from Dubai,Malaysia,Singapore,Sri Lanka,and other countries would be invited to participate in the festival that would also attract businessmen from across the country.

The festival featuring numerous events would put Andhra Pradesh on the World tourism map with a bang. It would be boon for the businessmen in the city. All the business outlets in the city would be advised to give special offers to the buyers during the month. The Tourism Department would illuminate all the important buildings and monuments. During the month, that takes into account the period between Dushera and Diwali.

The Tourism Department would co-host an exhibition with India        International Tourism Mart in which 15 states would take part. The exhibition will be organized at Necklace Road. There would be two conferences on business opportunities in A.P.One of the conferences would be in cooperation with the IITM and other with the confederation of 
Indian Industries(CII).Over 400 delegates would participate in the two conferences.

On Diwali,the government would organize a major firewokshow at Hussain Sagar Lake.
